2024 EPDs are now Posted Online!The 2024 Expected Progeny Differences (EPDs) calculations are now available online. EPDs distinguish AOA-registered alpacas from others worldwide, offering valuable insights that help AOA members make informed breeding and purchasing decisions, driving rapid and effective genetic improvement. This year’s calculation includes trait data submitted before September 2024. Be sure to download and save your 2024 EPD report, as previous EPD calculations are not archived. Start Planning Now for the 2025 Shearing Season!It’s never too early to start preparing for shearing. We encourage you to schedule your shearer as soon as possible. Properly organizing how samples will be collected prior to shearing will streamline the process when it's time for testing.
