It all started because my poor husband spent hours and hours mowing our five-acre tract. We just had to do something! Then we saw a piece on Animal Planet about Alpacas. What an idea. Easy on the land, easy to raise, and you can use their fleece! We started our research in November and by April we had our first four alpacas! Now we have over 100, and have never looked back!
